I had the pleasure of being the first guest at Lilo and Guido’s place in Malle, Denmark. The vacation rental is beautifully and comfortably furnished, has a small kitchen, and everything else you could need. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot. Right from the apartment, I could watch seagulls, geese, foxes, hares, and deer. The location is great, not far from the sea. The town, with its lovely shops for strolling and shopping, is also nearby. You can walk for hours in peace along the sea and beach—ideal for dog owners, too. The area is also perfect for bike rides, and there are plenty of sights and activities to enjoy. Even experiencing 110 km/h winds was a cool adventure!

I really relaxed and felt at home here, and I’m happy for Lilo and Guido that they took the plunge and found this wonderful place. The week ended way too quickly, and I’m already looking forward to the next time—and I found the Danes to be very polite, kind, and open-minded.

I’m really looking forward to Lilo’s “slow-down” week.
